Early access — install it manually
Coolbar is awaiting review on the Chrome Web Store. Until it’s listed, you can install it yourself in about a minute — it works exactly the same.
- 1Download the extension and unzip it somewhere you won’t delete — Chrome loads it from that folder every time it starts.
- 2Open
chrome://extensionsand turn on Developer mode (top right). - 3Click Load unpacked and choose the folder you just unzipped.
- 4Click the Coolbar icon → ⚙ → paste your access token from your settings page.
Other browsers
- Edge / Brave / Arc / Opera — the Chrome build installs the same way in any Chromium browser (Edge:
edge://extensions→ Developer mode → Load unpacked). A dedicated Edge package exists for the Edge Add-ons store listing. - Firefox — download the Firefox build, open
about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox→ Load Temporary Add-on and pick the zip. (Temporary installs reset on restart — the permanent listing on addons.mozilla.org is coming.) - Safari — requires Apple’s App Store wrapper, which is in progress. Meanwhile Mac users can run the Chrome build in any Chromium browser, and every other Coolbar surface (web app, share sheet, Telegram, email, Shortcut) works in Safari already.
Your pages are read inside your own tab and sent only to Coolbar — never to anyone else.
